MEG’s Gift is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit public charity created in 2015 by the family of Megan Elizabeth Garbach to honor her life and carry on her legacy. Throughout her lifetime, Megan was an emulation of compassion, giving, and kindness. She unabashedly shared these gifts with every person she met.
Though Megan tragically lost her battle with depression in 2014, the gifts that she so freely gave to others during her lifetime live on today through MEG's Gift. Our mission is guided by a vision of a more loving community that better understands, accepts and helps individuals suffering with mental illness, especially those who are most in need.
As a group of family and friends loyal to this cause, the volunteers of MEG’s Gift are committed to pursuing this mission with creativity, energy, and enthusiasm as they model Megan’s compassionate and loving ways.

EDUCATION
We believe that learning about mental illness is an integral part of supporting those whose lives are affected by it. We sponsor educational events that promote and advocate for mental health intervention in our community. Our yearly publication, Messages, aims to provide information and resources to individuals in our community.
